Noorderlicht Parade 2023, Spoor Noord Antwerp
I WISH TOMORROW is a global platform that gathers dreams from around the world, inviting people to anonymously share their hopes for the future—anytime, in any language. Through the I WISH TOMORROW website or a simple phone message, each wish becomes part of a living tapestry. Every night, these wishes are projected into the stars, lighting up the sky as symbols of possibility and hope.
Originally created for the Noorderlicht Parade 2023, themed “Earlier, Later,” I WISH TOMORROW collaborated with the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and the vibrant community of Antwerpen Noord—one of Europe’s most diverse neighborhoods. For the event, the project transformed into a mobile installation, following the parade through the neighborhood and collecting wishes in real time. Participants could submit their wishes before and during the parade, each one lighting up the sky instantly, creating a shared vision of tomorrow. Local residents of Dam generously supported the project, providing advertisement and mobility.
This project amplifies the hopes we all share for a better future—a chorus of aspirations that must be heard now more than ever. Long after the parade many people continue engaging with the project. To this day, I receive new hopes for a better tomorrow. My wish is for the project to grow globally, uniting voices from around the world into one brilliant constellation of hope.

Many additional wishes have since been submitted and thoughtfully documented. To this day, people continue to contribute their hopes, each one adding to the ever-expanding constellation of shared dreams.
